Galatians 5:22 reminds me of the fruits of Your presence, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness." Your Word reminds us in Matthew 12:25 that "a house divided against itself cannot stand." Lord, we confess that our nation is divided on so many fronts – politically, socially, and morally. We beg You, Father, to unite us as one people, bound together by the love and peace that can only come from You.

Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, You taught us in John 13:34-35 that the mark of Your disciples is the love they have for one another. Yet, we see hatred and animosity tearing apart the fabric of our society.
