Kwa kuja kwa Yesu, tunaweza pia kupata ushindi juu ya hukumu. "Kwa maana Mungu hakumtuma Mwana ulimwenguni ili auhukumu ulimwengu, bali ulimwengu uokolewe kwa yeye" (Yohana 3:17). Kwa sababu ya kifo cha Yesu, hatupaswi kuogopa hukumu. Tunapata uhakika kwamba tutakuwa na uzima wa milele mbinguni.

Tunapoishi maisha yetu ya Kikristo, tunapaswa kujifunza kuwa na huruma na upendo kwa wengine. "Basi kama vile Mungu alivyowahurumia ninyi, vivyo hivyo ninyi pia mhurumieni wengine" (Wakolosai 3:13). Tunapaswa kujifunza kuwa na upendo na huruma kama Yesu alivyokuwa, na kusamehe kwa moyo mweupe.

Kama wakristo tunapaswa kufahamu kuwa Mungu hutafuta kuvuta watu kwa upendo wake na sio kwa hukumu yake. Tunapaswa kuwa mfano wa upendo wake kwa ulimwengu kwa kuwa wajumbe wake. Tunapofanya hivyo, tunaweza kuwasaidia wengine kujua jinsi ya kupata huruma na ushindi juu ya hukumu.

Katika nyakati za dhambi na giza la ulimwengu, tunahitaji kutafuta huruma ya Yesu kwa moyo wote. Tunapaswa kumrudia kwa sababu yeye ni rafiki wa karibu na msaada wetu katika kila hali. "Njoni kwangu ninyi nyote msumbukao na wenye kulemewa na mizigo, nami nitawapumzisha" (Mathayo 11:28).

Je, unajua kwamba unaweza kupata huruma na ushindi juu ya hukumu kupitia Yesu Kristo? Tunapompokea Yeye kama Bwana na mwokozi wa maisha yetu, tunaweza kuwa na uhakika wa uzima wa milele mbinguni. Tafuta huruma yake leo na ujue kwamba Mungu wetu ni Mungu wa huruma na upendo.
